Folders and tags

Organize notes into folders and cross-cut them with tags. Filter the list by either one.

Rich text, built for writing

A clean, distraction-free editor with the formatting you actually use — nothing else in the way.

Search your notes, content included

The sidebar search matches titles and the opening lines. Ctrl-K opens a palette that searches note content in full, without leaving the keyboard.

Tasks that actually recur

Due dates, recurring tasks that regenerate on their own schedule, and subtasks for anything with more than one step.

Boards with WIP limits

Drag cards between columns, cap how many can sit "in progress" at once, and link any card straight to its note.

Today view, always current

One glance at what's due and what's coming up, with drag-to-reschedule — plus a calendar view when you need to zoom out.

Drag-to-organize, everywhere

Reorder notes, tasks, and board cards by hand — the order sticks, per view, no re-sorting every time you look.

Keeps working offline

Write and edit with no connection — changes queue on the device and sync themselves once you are back online.

Your notes, exportable

Export your notes from Settings at any time — a ZIP of Markdown files grouped by folder. Notes only, and it skips the trash.

Your master password never leaves your device, and note titles and content are encrypted client-side before they ever reach our servers. Nothing else is. Stored readable: folder names, tag names, and note metadata — dates, favorite and trash flags, board and list positions, and which folder and tags a note belongs to; task titles, descriptions, labels, checklist items, links and comments; project names; board column names; and the names and URLs of any calendar feeds you add. That is what Today, the boards, the calendar, and sorting are built on.
